Who are you and what do you do ?

As the advisor to the Mobility Minister on public works and cycle policy. I am responsible for the promoting cycling and increasing the number of cyclists in the Brussels Capital Region.  

Why are you part of Generation T ?

Because of my urban policy expertise, more specifically on cycle policy and public works as well as my expertise and interest in sustainable development, negotiations and politics. 

A specific example on how your project or activities make a difference and initiate the change :

I prepared and proposed the 80km separated cycle path plan by 2020 of the Brussels Capital Region, which was presented to the local municipalities and approved by the Brussels government. This plan is currently in execution. 
I initiated the bicycle promotion campaign "Bike for Brussels" and launched initiatives as the bicycle theft actions and a route-planning application for cyclists
